Our newstand at the Leman Expat Fair in Morges was a great success. Designed by our new production assistant, Karin Stenmarck, the stand attracted a great number of people. Visitors were shown the large A3-size, hard-page portfolio (also designed by Karin) containing some of our work and an interesting framed collage. Thanks to Karin and Dominique for manning the stand and looking so stunning.

English Communications was present with two stands at the Expat Expo at the Palexpo in Geneva. The two stands were divided into information on the two main activities, production and training. Many visitors to the stand were impressed with the range of activities offered by English Communications and quite a number of former workshop participants and friends came along to say hello. We have booked a stand at the Leman Expat Fair in Morges on 9 November. We hope to see you there.

On 4 October 2008, Paul was the master of ceremonies at the 40th Anniversary Gala celebrations for Executives International. The event was held at the prestigious Lausanne Palace with around 100 guests.

September, 2008

In September, Paul was also the master of ceremonies for the "Glamour Suisse" event at the Comptoir Suisse exhibition centre in Lausanne. Paul introduced a number of influential politicians, businessmen and personalities who have been bringing international attention to Switzerland, in particular to the Canton of Vaud. Paul, by the way, is a naturalized Swiss so he took great pride in being asked to run the on-stage show. The event, organized by the State Department for Economic Promotion, was a great success despite the suprise of some that it was moderated partly in English. This was intentional on the part of the organizers to show the international influence and tendency of this up-and-coming State.
